Colossians 3:12-15 NIV
12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. 15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
This starts the part of this chapter that I turn into a prayer. Because doing this can only be done with and in Him.
Lord I ask You to fill my heart with compassion, kindness and humility. Help me be gentle and patient, able to bear graciously with others, and willing to forgive all complaints against me because You have forgiven me all my sins.
Wrap me in love which binds everything together in unity and come be the Peace controlling my heart and let my mouth profess thanks to You for all You do for me. For every moment I am with You.
Your are more than welcome to use that prayer yourself. The point is to pray.
