Welcome to the Isaiah Short Study at afaithtalk.com.
Let’s pray:
Lord Jesus, this book is hard to read and understand yet You’ve asked me to do short bits of study on it this year so I ask You to lead, explain, reveal, write. Thank You, Lord.
Read Isaiah 2:1-3 – Amplified Bible
Yes, just three verses today.
God’s Universal Reign
1 The word [from God] which Isaiah son of Amoz saw [in a vision] concerning [the nation of] Judah and [its capital city] Jerusalem.
2 Now it will come to pass that
In the last days
The mountain of the house of the Lord
Will be [firmly] established as the [a]highest of the mountains,
And will be exalted above the hills;
And all the nations will stream to it.
3 And many peoples shall come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
To the house (temple) of the God of Jacob;
That He may teach us His ways
And that we may walk in His paths.”
I simply love the subtitle here. Please write it down. For Universal means there is no place He does not reign.
The mountain of the house of the Lord will be firmly established as the highest of the mountains, and will be exalted above the hills; and all the nations will stream to it.
Imagine that.
And many peoples shall come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, That He may teach us His ways
And that we may walk in His paths.”
Oh yes, the future is bright for those who believe in Jesus.
