Redemption…So much of my study lately has been hold onto your faith, don’t ignore or disregard God. There is much more to do with faith than just hold it, you have to use it, work it, exercise it. Life is full of chances to depend on God.
This small lesson is on two verses that should prove to you just how much your faith and your trust in Christ means to Him.
Let’s pray:
Lord Jesus, I know You never let us go once we come to You, so Lord, help us be faith-filled and trust You with all our moments. If you were to come today, Lord I pray You would find us full of faith and trust in You. For You are worthy of all of our faith and all of our trust. Amen.
Please read verses 4 & 5
4 “For the day of vengeance [against ungodliness] was in My heart,
And My year of redemption [of those who put their trust in Me—the year of My redeemed] has come.
5 “I looked, but there was no one to help,
And I was amazed and appalled that there was no one to uphold [truth and right].
So My own arm brought salvation to Me,
And My wrath sustained Me.
Ignoring or disregarding God is considered wickedness. It’s very easy to be wicked, hold onto your faith and don’t let yourself neglect to listen or read Scripture or put your trust in Him. Talk to Him.
Redemption
Those who put their trust in Him will be redeemed. Are already redeemed in fact but it will be even better when He returns.
Uphold truth and right. He is Truth. His ways are always Right.
Lord may we always put our focus on You and Trust You in all our minutes and moments. Find us faithful, Lord. In Your Name, I pray. Amen.
