Question and answer, oh how I love Jesus. Could he be asking you this question? Come and see an abiding trust is required. Confident belief that He is able.
Matthew 9:28-29
28 When He (Jesus) went into the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe [with a deep, abiding trust] that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith [your trust and confidence in My power and My ability to heal] it will be done to you.”
Deep abiding trust in Him. Do you have that? Do you want that? Ask.
Lord, build my trust in You so that I know it’s deep and abiding trust.
He is able. Look what He said.
“According to your faith [your trust and confidence in My power and My ability to heal] it will be done to you.”
Trust and confidence in His power and His ability.
Years and years ago I did a bible study that Beth Moore wrote and in it were 5 statements we had to memorize, here are the first two.
God is who He says He is.
God can do what He says He can do.
Those alone can build your trust. And Bible Study can build both your confidence and endurance and encourage you too. There’s a lot of it here at afaithtalk. Come read. Let’s grow our faith.
