Philippians 2:13 – Amplified Bible
13 For it is [not your strength, but it is] [c]God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.
This purpose, this is His purpose for you, not necessarily the one you’re spending most of your time with. Because God has particular jobs for each of us to do and only prayer and listening can tell you what those jobs are supposed to be. And it’s likely to be a job that you can only do with Him strengthening and energizing and creating in you the longing and ability to fulfill that purpose.
