The ‘above’ mentioned here is not the stuff we can see in the sky, but all the way up, it’s Jesus. Focus on Jesus. Let’s pray:
Lord help us focus on You. Help us understand You are with us every second of every day and so we would do well to focus more of our attention on You. Amen.

1 Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].
You have been raised to New life.
Keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is.
Set your mind and keep focused habitually on heavenly things.
