A quick lesson from Ephesians 5:1-17 NIV
Follow God’s Example. (vs 1)
Walk in the way of love. (vs2)
This is in Sunday’s lectionary: Jesus in John 15:12 and 17 says
“This is my command: Love one another.”
To walk in the way of love is to abide in Jesus and depend on Him being your very life.
For He is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or even imagine according to His power that is at work within us. Ephesians 3:20
You are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. (vs 8)
Did you know you glow? His light can fill you in such a way as to make you actually shine. “You are the light of the world.” Matthew 5:14
The fruit of light consists in all
Goodness
Righteousness
Truth (vs 9)
And find out what pleases the Lord. (vs 10)
Be very careful, then, how you live. (vs 15)
Make the most of every opportunity. (vs 16)
Understand what the Lord’s will is. (vs 17)
Today’s BibleGateway verse of the day, brought to us by the Amplified Bible:

Give Thanks Continually.
