Yay, it’s Tuesday and it’s Bible Study day again! Oh how much fun I find this day. There’s nothing like God. Nothing as good as God. Nothing is better than God. Yes, I’ve been listening to Graves into Gardens a bit these last few days. That and for King and Country and a few others too.
This is the last chapter in 1Peter. Can you believe it? We made it all the way through 1 Peter already. I don’t know how it feels to you, but to me it always seems to go so fast.
So first, let’s pray:
Dear Lord Jesus, I ask for wisdom and the revelation that You can send to go through this chapter and lead us and show us what it is You want us to see. Help us learn, Lord. In Your name, I pray. Amen.
1 Peter 5 NIV

Peter, the fellow elder, is also a witness of Christ’s sufferings and will also share in the _________ to be ___________. He’s the one talking to us here. He tells these elders to be _____________ of God’s _________ that is under their ________, watching _______ them—not because you must, but because _________________________________, as God wants you to be. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, oh yes, when Jesus returns, you will _________ the crown of ________ that will never _________________.
1 Peter 5:5-7
If you’re being watched over, shepherded, let it happen. Don’t fight it. And every one, those shepherded and those doing the shepherding, clothe yourselves with ____________ toward one another, because God _________________________, but shows favor to the _____________.
To reiterate, therefore, ____________________ under God’s _____________________, that he may __________________ in due time. Cast all your _________________ on him because he __________ for you.
1 Peter 5:8-9

1 Peter 5:10-11
The God of all grace has called you to _______________________ in ____________ and will himself __________________________ and make you _______________________________________. Yes, in the mean time you will have to suffer for a while. But the promise will be granted.
1 Peter 5:11 To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Stand fast in it.
1 Peter 5:13-14
Peter ends this letter with greetings and ____________ to all of you who are in ____________.
All that matters is we’re in Christ. The one through whom all gifts are given. Faith, my friends. Grow your faith.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for this book, for these words, for the encouragement and the wonders that exist in this chapter and the whole book. Thank You for the time to study and the time to concentrate on what is being read. I will praise You for Your constant faithfulness. Amen.
