Welcome to the Quick Study of Isaiah. We’re in chapter 15 this week. Judgment on Moab. If you know your old testament you will understand why. This was long ago promised. Isaiah was compelled to preach this mournful chapter.
Let’s pray:
Lord Jesus, these ancient stories are sometimes really hard to understand. But You can help. So, Lord, would you help me keep this short but also accurate? Thank you, Lord.
Isaiah 15:10b
A lion upon those of Moab who escape and upon the remnant of the land.
Jeremiah 48:42
“Moab will be destroyed from being a nation (people) Because he has become arrogant and magnified himself against the Lord.”
Whatever you do, do not become arrogant. Do not magnify yourself against the Lord. Heaven knows all the ways those who do so do. Keep yourself faith-filled and aware of His Lordship over you. For He loves you.
