Welcome to the Quick Study this week. I don’t know if this is from the Tuesday study I just did or something else recently, but there’s been a focus on the wickedness of the people. So here, a call to leave it behind and call on God.
Let’s pray:
Lord we come ready to repent and ask for forgiveness for all our wickedness and unrighteousness. And we thank and praise You for Your righteousness and Your forgiveness and the way you cover us with it all. Lord, I’m also asking, help us see where we still need to repent and Lord, lead us to do so. Make us into the true and dedicated wholly to You people you want us to be.
Isaiah 55:6-7 – Amplified Bible
Please read Isaiah 55:6-7
6 Seek the Lord while He may be found;
Call on Him [for salvation] while He is near.
7 Let the wicked leave (behind) his way
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
And let him return to the Lord,
And He will have compassion (mercy) on him,
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.
Seek the Lord while He may be found… there will be a day when He will not be found, it will be too late to seek Him. So seek Him today.
Call on Him to save you while He is near. Lord save me!
Praise Him for His compassion, His mercy is new every morning.
Abundantly pardoned we will be.
Then we can sing! For He will set us free. Free from sin, Free to worship. Free to live for Him.
Thank You, Lord for your forgiveness. Thank You, Lord, for saving us.
