I’m so glad you’re here.
Today’s mini study is on 2 Corinthians 1:18-22 in the NIV.
18 But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.” 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silas and Timothy—was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.” 20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. 21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
God is faithful. Through Jesus Christ, His Son, everything He’s promised is Yes. Every promise will come true. Everything.
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ.
Stand firm in Christ. Many, many places in Scripture you can find the words “Stand firm” yet in the interest of keeping this a ‘mini’ lesson, we’ll only look at one.
1 Corinthians 16:13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
God makes us stand firm. It’s not in our own strength that we live, it’s through His. It’s all faith. Every moment of life is faith.
We’ve been anointed, and His Spirit is in us, proving we belong to Him. That is our guarantee that all that has been promised is coming.
Faith has innumerable benefits, they’re all over the place in Scripture. But once again, this is a ‘mini’ lesson so we’re not going to go looking today.
Just believe this is all true. Every promise made is Yes in Jesus Christ.
Thank you for coming by. Hold on to and Grow your Faith with me.
God is Faithful
No matter how may promises have been made, they are all Yes in Christ Jesus
Stand firm in Christ.
It’s all by Faith.
