Peace and Quiet, the aim for a life of faith. So long as Love is the way you live you can also live in peace and quiet.
1 Thessalonians 4:10b-12 – Amplified Bible
But we urge you, brothers and sisters, that you excel [in this matter] more and more, 11 and to make it your ambition to live quietly and peacefully, and to mind your own affairs and work with your hands, just as we directed you, 12 so that you will behave properly toward outsiders [exhibiting good character, personal integrity, and moral courage worthy of the respect of the outside world], and be dependent on no one and in need of nothing [be self-supporting].
Love and peace, a quiet life of ambition only directed toward those. Good character, personal integrity and moral courage too. Your behavior matters. The way you walk out this faith matters a great deal. Thus loads of teaching in Paul’s letters. There is one of the best parts of Scripture in chapter 4, you’ll have to go read Tuesday’s study to see it. It’s all about what is to come. Not just what but some how too. Enjoy.
