Faith is all that matters to get the promise. The promise was given to Abraham because He believed. You can too.

Father, thank You for this promise. This argument that is Romans 4 about the fact that we can be part of this in faith. Thank You, Father, for making it simple. Help us live it out. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Romans 4:13-14 – Amplified Bible
The Promise
13 For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through [observing the requirements of] the Law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 If those who are [followers] of the Law are [the true] heirs [of Abraham], then faith [leading to salvation] is of no effect and void, and the promise [of God] is nullified.
The righteousness of faith. That’s how you get in on the promise. Heirs we are. See, the future is so bright, despite what it feels like right now. Keep your focus on Christ and like the song says, the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.
