Colossians 1:19-20 AMP
19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
God was pleased to have all His Fullness dwell in Jesus, and through Jesus to reconcile to God Himself, all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through Jesus’ blood shed on the cross.
Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary says
Reconcile: to restore to friendship, settle, to account for
That’s what Jesus’ death on the cross provided. Forgiveness that put us in right relationship, justified us, made us blameless and when He rose from death, cleared all our debts through forgiveness. Thereby putting us in a reconciled relationship with God the Father through God the Son.
That is also the ministry we’ve been given. To bring reconciliation to the world that doesn’t believe so that they may believe. And to heal relationships among believers too.
Just think about it, everything you’ve ever done, every thought you’ve ever thought has been forgiven. What Jesus did cleared you to have a right relationship with God forever. When He looks at You He sees Christ’s Righteousness.
That’s how you can have your thoughts transformed. Thank You, Jesus.
