Sunday, November 21, 2021 is Reign of Christ Sunday.
There is no better news than He Reigns.
Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.
Revelation 1:4-6
Him who is, who was, and who is to come! The eternal Lord our God, our rescue, our deliverer, our best friend and the only way we can enter eternal life, through Him, Jesus.
Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” John 18:37b
The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty;
the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength;
Your statutes, Lord, stand firm;
holiness adorns your house
for endless days.
Psalm 93:1ab & 5
“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
Daniel 7:13-14
Everlasting dominion. The unconquerable kingdom. Our future is so bright.
All authority is His. All glory, honor, praise and power is His. Stick close to Him, He is more than capable to do more that we can ask or think.
“If my house were not right with God,
surely he would not have made with me an everlasting covenant,
arranged and secured in every part;
surely he would not bring to fruition my salvation
and grant me my every desire.”
2 Samuel 23:5
If we’re not right with God, there is no security. Get and Be right with God, and he will bring to fruition your salvation. Delight yourself in Him and he will give you the desires of your heart. We do not have because we do not ask. He showers us in favor and will have us standing when the times reach their fulfillment. In Him: You are chosen, You are adopted, You are blameless, You are loved beyond measure, You are blessed, you are redeemed, you have been marked with the image of God and sealed by His Spirit and oh so much more. Your life is for His glory.
