Welcome to afaithtalk.com. We have many wonderful things to see. I’m so glad you’re here and ready to join me on this walk through some absolutely delightful Scripture.
First, let’s pray:
Lord Jesus, we are here to read a variety of things, to praise You and to learn something. I’m trusting You to give me the words to say and to teach me right along with anyone else who’s reading this. Reveal what You want to reveal. We’re ready, Lord. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.
Isaiah 25:1
1 Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.
Do the words “things planned long ago” remind you of something else? I hear Ephesians 1:4. And at “Lord, you are my God,” I hear this song from Ryan Stevenson.
Isaiah 26:4 NIV
Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.
Yes, you can praise the Lord for His faithfulness and the fact that He’s done wonderful things and His beyond our imaginations wonderful plan. Most certainly Trust Him.
Isaiah 25:9
9 In that day they will say,
“Surely this is our God;
we trusted in him, and he saved us.
This is the Lord, we trusted in him;
let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.”
Rejoice and be glad in His Salvation. Truly He is worthy of all our praise.
Psalm 106:1-5, 48 NIV
1 Praise the Lord.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
2 Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord
or fully declare his praise?
3 Blessed are those who act justly,
who always do what is right.
4 Remember me, Lord, when you show favor to your people,
come to my aid when you save them,
5 that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones,
that I may share in the joy of your nation
and join your inheritance in giving praise.
48 Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting.
Let all the people say, “Amen!”
Praise the Lord.
The word Praise in verse 1 and 48 in Hebrew is Hallelu Yah. Remind you of an English word? That’s not the only translation of praise, just the one from those two verses.
In Ephesians 1, three times between verses 3 and 14 it says “to the praise of his glory!” In verse 6 it says “to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.”
Lots and Lots and Lots of reasons to Praise Him. Let’s compile a list because who doesn’t love a simple list? What have we seen?
Praise Him. Praise the Lord Jesus for:
His perfect faithfulness
The fact that He has done wonderful things and has wonderful plans for all our days and eternity too.
Ephesians 1:4 “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight, in love.”
Trust Him
He is the Rock eternal.
Psalm 62:7 “My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.”
Rejoice and be glad in his salvation (Glorious Day)
Praise Him and Thank Him for He is good
His love endures forever. Trust that. Thank Him for that.
Praise Him from everlasting to everlasting.
Praise Him for the grace we’re simply drowning in because of Jesus.
John 1:16 “Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.”
He is worthy of all our praise.
Hallelujah! Hallelu Yah.
Hallelu hallelu hallelu hallujah, Praise ye The Lord.
