A few verses today as there is a lot in chapter 60 to see. It’s a promise of the Kingdom coming.
Let’s pray:
Lord Jesus, I thank You for being our light. I thank You for this promise that one day all will be well. Guide me Lord as I make this chapter study a quick one. For Your Glory. Amen.
Please Read Isaiah 60:1.
“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come,
And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you.”
I know it’s on a Christmas album, but it’s worth singing all year. This is a live performance at the Worship Together Café. Chris Tomlin’s A King Like This when I see those words above, I hear this. Adore is the name of the album, every song on it is wonderful.
So arise, shine, for your light has come.
The glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you. Can you believe it? Do you feel it? He is with you. Faith, my friend. Have faith.
Please read Isaiah 60:20-21
20 “Your sun will no longer set,
Nor will your moon wane;
For the Lord will be your everlasting light,
And the days of your mourning will be over.
21 “Then all your people will be [uncompromisingly and consistently] righteous;
They will possess the land forever,
The branch of My planting,
The work of My hands,
That I may be glorified.
The Lord is our everlasting light.
Then…all the people will be uncompromisingly and consistently righteous. Why? That God may be Glorified.
Praise Him. Thank Him. Glorify Him. Honor Him.
All honor and glory is yours, Almighty Father. Your kingdom come, Your will be done.
