Welcome to afaithtalk. I feel in need of a bit of a reset mind-wise. So this is what we’re going to do. In my readings this past week I’ve run across several Scriptures that speak wonders to me and the best way I know to get my mind on right is to do what these verses say and trust what they say will one day happen. Very soon, please come, Lord Jesus, very soon.
Psalm 29:1-2, 10-11 NIV
Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness
The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;
the Lord is enthroned as King forever.
The Lord gives strength to his people;
the Lord blesses his people with peace.
Isaiah 25:1
Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago.
1 Corinthians 6:14
By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also.
1 Peter 1:13
Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.
Praise Him. Thank Him. Trust Him.
Thank You, Lord. In Your Name, the one above every name I pray. Amen.
